Let us ‘transport’ you to the magical Christmas of Spain and Catalonia, with its twinkling lights, festive atmosphere, delicious flavours and wonderfully curious traditions, and discover how this special time of year is celebrated further south.

Our unique immersive 360° VR tour takes you right into the heart of the celebrations, from festive bus tours and lively Christmas markets to nativity scenes and spectacular illuminated displays. Along the way, interactions with local people reveal the stories, customs and seasonal traditions behind what you see, giving you a glimpse into Christmas as it is actually experienced there.

Our interactive, multi-sensory experience invites participants to taste typical Spanish and Catalan Christmas treats and explore some of the more fun and wonderfully bizarre festive customs - such as the Caga Tió and caganers (cagones) - all within a lively Christmassy setting.

Spanish learners in schools and other settings will be offered language tasks and challenges linked to Christmas traditions, as well as opportunities to role-play as locals and visitors.

Linked creative, cultural and culinary workshops are available for a deeper dive into this theme, eg. making turrón or a Roscón de Reyes; creating a Caga Tió; and taking part in a Spanish and Catalan 'Navidad' traditions game.
