All Abroad! Newhaven <> Dieppe 360°
If you've ever watched the ferry set sail from Newhaven and wondered what it's like to visit Dieppe, now is your chance to - no passport required!
This Autumn 2025, All Abroad! Bus is offering people the opportunity to step into Dieppe! Through immersive 360° virtual reality (VR) tours and a hands-on, multi-sensory installation, we'll bring this vibrant French town to life in the Atrium of the Marine Workshops in Newhaven. Visitors will experience some of the sights, sounds, smells, tastes, textures, and everyday life that make this Dieppe unique - while also exploring what it shares with Newhaven.
The event is part of the 200th anniversary celebrations of the Dieppe-Newhaven ferry line, marking two centuries of trade, tourism, and friendship.
What to expect:

Immersive 360° VR headset tours: feel like you’re in Dieppe, exploring the town and even the ferry that connects the two ports.

A hands-on, multi-sensory installation: sights, sounds, smells, tastes, textures, and everyday life from across the Channel.

Fun and curiosity for all ages. Accessible.

All Abroad! Bus will be touring this immersive experience to schools, care homes, and community settings in the Newhaven area this Autumn - ensuring that we 'bring' Dieppe to as many people as possible.
We'll also be taking an immersive experience about Newhaven across to Dieppe, for our European neighbours to discover what's on the UK side of the ferry - and what makes Newhaven special. .
